I traded my Heritage for an Ultra Limited over the weekend. I really miss my Heritage, but that Ultra is one SWEET ride! After renting the Ultra, my wife said she was never riding a softtail again!
Congrats on the new ride.I just traded my 11 Limited in on a 11 Road King Classic. Never felt comfortable on the Limited. The Road King fits me perfect. I really never got used to the fairing, tour pak and the actual weight of the bike. Hope you like the Limited more than I did.

Congrats brother, I LOVE my Limited as well. I went from a 2010 RKC to my 2011 Limited.

Same story here when I had my "97 Springer. I bought a used '95 FLHTCUI "old mans bike" just to use as a "mini-van for trips" and found myself riding it only. really got into the comfort and carrying capacity. I miss the Springer though !
When I went in the day I got my Limited, I was eyeballing a RG Custom with the power pak, I turn around and my wife is sitting on the back of the Limited and says I like this one, who am I to argue
I have a Softail Duece that I absolutely love but wanted another bike for long trips.
I got a Limited. Now 18,000 miles later I'm still not sure it's the best bike for me. Yes it does have it's benefits, storage capacity, cruise, smooth as silk, etc., but I just don't like how high "on" the bike I sit. I like sitting "in" the Softails much better. Plus the Softail, with its solid mounts, gives the feeling of being one with the bike and being more firmly planted to the road. I don't have that same feeling on the Limited.
I've been considering unloading the Limited and getting a Heritage Softail decked out for touring. Not saying I'm going to do it but I have been thinking about it.
