The SE 203 is a good, mild cam but still EPA Complient so for me you are still leaving a lot of performance behind using this cam.
I like the SE 204 , very strong mid range power, good throughout the RPM range with no flat spots. Does not need more compression to perform..
I had these in my 05 fatboy and 2 of my friends with a RK TC88 and a RG TC 95 are using then with great results
I have the exact same bike (ok maybe a different color) and cams are my winter project as well. I am going with the Andrews 21 cam, (maybe a street port on the heads) and a two into one exhaust system (the current winner is the Vance Pro Pipe). good luck on what ever you decide.
welcome to the forum. i'm in agreement with XARAN with the choice of the 204 cams. wow, your first post, there's a lot of great information in here, enjoy.
Lots of folks, myself included, are very happy with the Head-Quarters HQ-0034. It's similar to the Andrews 26, S&S 510 and others. I haven't thought about a 95" kit since the HQ's were installed 4 years ago.
You don't mention what you're doing with the cam chain tensioners. A good upgrade is the SE hydraulic cam plate and high volume oil pump; ~$400 or so.
