I have a friend that has a 09 Street Glide with these add ons..
1.Big sucker A/C
2.PC-V
3.V&H Slipons
When you stop at traffic Lights ,,,it pops & Smokes through the A/C then the Motor Dies,, The Motor will start back and all is well until you find another traffic light..
It don't do this every time but will about five or six times everytime we go for a all day ride.
PLEASE TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON WITH THIS STREET GLIDE,,,, Thanks
if it is still doing it, then look for trouble codes
does it do it only when hot/cold or both
backfiring ( or "sneezing") thru the intake usually indicates a lean condition, intake leak, timing too advanced or, unlikely valve train problems, cam timing/ bent valve/ burned valve seat...but these would be apparent at higher speeds

My experience with back fires out of the intake is only or carbed bikes. But when I had this happen it was due to a lean condition. I fixed it by tweaking the Air Fuel mixture. My guess is your friends street glide does not have the correct map, and need to be richend up. Check his spark plugs and see if they are white in color, if so, that's the problem.

Who did the work on your friends bike (self or shop). If everything's installed correctly w/no leaks then the tuner's probably your culprit. Take mkguitar's advice & check it out...needs some adjusting, or has failed.
