When I shift the gears going at a normal speed I feel no vibration from the shifter linkage under the heel of my foot. If I get on her a little the vibration happens and increases with the speed until I get through the gears. I have no problem getting her in gear but the vibration worries me.
I am new to HD after riding metrics for 30 years and understand Harleys like to vibrate, that I like ,but is this normal?

Check your ball joints at the end of the linkage. They're prone to break. Carry a few plastic ties in case it happens when you're on the road.
I replaced mine by heim joints before they broke and I have no vibration whatsoever.
another thing to check is that the screw to tighten the shifter gets road grime in it an when you try to tighten it, it does not get tight. I took mine off cleaned it, dab of never seize and it snugged right up.
Some vibration is normal. I swapped my stock linkage for the type with heim joints. It provides a firmer feel at the lever, and it looks much better than the stock part.
