Seat help
Hello everyone, I am new here so if I am in the wrong place please forgive me.
I recently purchased an 04 RK classic. The bike is great but had a 2 up Corbin RK-DT-97 seat on it. I understand this is a great (kind of expensive) seat. However, I am finding that at my 5'9" height with 30" inseam that it sits me to high and too far back (I am on the ***** of my feet at a stop and can't even reach the highway pegs). My question is if a sundowner seat would help with this?
If so, anyone want to buy a Coribn seat or trade it for a sundowner?

I should also mention that passenger comfort is also important. The way I see it I need to be lowered about an inch and as I said, the bike came with highway pegs but have to tip toe to use them. I appreciate any and all help!
I saw that there is a reach seat but had also heard that because it is cut lower you sacrifice comfort.
I had heard conflicting stories about the sundownder where some say it does lower you some and other say it doesn't.

I currently have a Mustang solo, which sits me lower (but also farther back) than my previous 2 up Sundowner. Cheapest thing might be to lower an inch (with lowering blocks).
What I'm getting at is I think the Sundowner will raise you.

Oh really? I haven't heard that. I had heard some say same height as stock and others say slightly lower than stock...
Again the issue is I don't have stock, I have a Corbin 2 up, the rk-dt-97 which on Corbin's website even states some riders might feel it puts them to far back. It is a touring saddle but just doesn't fit me.

the super reduced seat is cupped too much. but it is designed to sit you forward and down couple inches. I can now hold the bike with confidence when the wife gets on or I stop on a uneven surface.mine is not as comfortable as I would like but with a backrest it will have to do for a while. mines on an 09 electra glide standard.
That's what I've heard about comfort on the reach seat. I am now a floridian as of a month ago so I can ride more often and my wife has had back surgery so we are absolutely concerned about comfort but as I said, I need to feel more secure and be able to stand flat footed as well.
