Man you guys have a lot of great Info. There is a lot of knowledge on this forum. I thought I would be able to drop in a 103 or a 96 but it appears in is not a direct drop in change over.
St Glide, earlier I was toying with the re-man program here in Vancouver Canada.Locally they wanted $7500.00 and they could not guarantee shipping costs...
Mnt Baker HD had a price in and out, shipping everything..well almost everything except fluids and a gasket all in $4500.00 done.
1 yr unlimited warranty !!!
I got lucky though, dropped a valve was the damage done to my ride...
I took the old heads to my guy and swapped out and on the road for a grand, so I never did go the re-man route.
You eventually will find a donor engine sooner or later and for a great price or you can buy an S&S or have your engine re-built with the help of the crew here.
To make your current bike a 103 you would need the stroker crank from the SE parts group and bored cylinders to 95'' as an option. the new displacement with the stroker crank makes it a 103cui.
Its your money spend wisely.
