After a month in the shop having the heads rebuilt [burnt valve]
they call and say it's done BUT suggest a super tuner down load.
The bike is 05 RK,stock other then K&N a/c and american custom pipes.
I'm new with this and could be taken easy enough.
Question is, is this down load necessary?
I've also read, if I do this I should get the VCI module
and a copy of the map on flash drive.
Is that right?
Sorry about the questions but I'm really in the dark on this.
Thanks
You can get the download but in my opinion a power commander works much better. It's running lean with the high flow air cleaner and the pipes. That's why they're telling you to get a download.
What about the VCI module and the map.
I have read that if they keep this they will be the only one that
can fix any problems. So if I was out of town or state none of the other
dealers would be able to down load.
Is that right?
