I have an 09 ST that I just purchased. Starting to mod it and was looking at wheels and tires. I noticed the 10's went to an 18 inch front wheel. My 09 has a 17 inch. Will you feel improved handling? I'm just wondering should I upgrade to an 18 inch front tire and wheel.
Also, anyone have a good comparison between the Elite3 tire and the O.E.M. Dunlops?
SGs started with 16" front wheels and have gone to 17" then 18". All those tyres are 130mm wide. I can't think of a good reason to change, except for looks. I'm tempted for my older bike! It'll be interesting to hear from someone with direct experience of 17" and 18".
I have abs on my 09, will any SG 18 inch front work? Can I use a non abs front wheel without issues? The look is that the 18 front tire is a lower profile? 80 aspect to a 70 aspect...
