LOL...My bad..I did notice that later but it was to late to edit it out since somebody already posted. I use the apology accepted saying all the time with people when there is no apolgy given just to get laughs. But in your case I apologize.

The primary drain plug on my 03 EG Classic is a tapered pipe thread. Manual says to coat threads with high temp sealing compound (Permatex) and screw in until the plug is a specific height from the case. I do mine very gently until it is tight then double check the height.

Went to my local stealership today to pick up a few things. Spoke to parts and told them my primary drain plug did not use an o-ring since they told me a couple days ago it did. They pulled one out of a box to have a look. It actually comes with teflon tape already on it. Oh and I picked up the oil filter wrench but to my suprise they only had the one that was $25 bucks and it did not come with vasoline in the box. What a rip. I bent over and smiled and just took it. Fluids are all out of my bike and i'm just ready to put it back together or I would have gone elsewhere or ordered the one Harley shows for $10 bucks.
