Was at the dealer today picking up some parts I ordered khat week. Noticed some chrome wind deflectors that bolt onto the forks. Been getting a lot of facial buffeting since adding my windshield and thought these might do the trick. Anybody used them and with what results? Thanks for your feedback.
I had a set. I liked them because they kept alot of the wind off my legs. They most likely will get rid of the facial buffeting. I never really thought about it. I know that I can put my left hand down flat about 2/3's down on my left hand side gas tank and I don't have buffeting. I drive an EG BTW.
The only drawbacks I saw on them were that since i covered my bike with a bike cover, you have to be careful about removing it. If you snag and pull hard on the cover, it will slowly start bending and cracking the aluminum at the mount and sooner or later it will break all the way thru. AND the covers hindered my view navagating slowly, since I use the pavement as a guide also. If that makes any sense to you.
