sweetlu, I thought I was the only one and I am not tall. I installed long stem black HD mirrors to the handlebars to get the rear vision I needed and use the fairing mirrors for blind-spot areas. Kuryakyn offers a replacement, which might work for you: http://www.kuryakyn.com/products.asp...ey&ci=3769
Thanks FBL. I saw the one in the Kury site unfortunately they will not be available until July 07. Hope they offer it in black and without those LED turn signals. I was thinking to go with the black mirrors, but could not decide on the short or long stem. Thanks for showing a pic of the long stem in your gallery.
You ever use the fairing mirrors since you installed the long stems.

To you guys that have installed the fairing mount mirrors....Do they make a chrome plug of some sort to fill in the hole that is left when you remove the bar mount mirrors?
I got the Tapered Mirrors - Black Long Stem (91910-03A & 91909-03A) and they cover the SG mirrors. I wanted them to be higher. Anybody knows of where I can get vertical extensions.

Dealer hooked me up with the mirror extension kit (P/N 91907-87). Now I can see what's behind me. Using the fairing mirrors to view blind spots.
