I'm just curious how many of the FM 107 builds took place in lieu of purchasing a new bike. In my case, I had a hair up my backside to purchase a new RGU to replace my '09 RG back in April/May of this year but once I realized that HD didn't offer any color that rang my bell, I started looking at alternatives. (My bike is Mirage Orange Pearl) I had been watching the posts about the FM 107 and started getting excited about having more power in a bike I already loved. I went ahead with the build back in May and have ZERO regrets about my decision. Anyone else do the same or similar??
Thanks for providing the link! Very good numbers and nice curves on the dyno. Sounds like a real good deal. For an additional $700 you can do the heads and improve the hp a lot and the tq a bit as well.
I voted other, I will more than likely be doing the 107, just trying to research anything else I might need to ad. I thought about the new CVO RG, because I really like it a lot, thing is, I do most of the work on my bike, and I've had no major problems, plus there is absolutely nothing wrong with my bike. Why fix what's not broke? And if I bought a CVO I'd still have to make many changes.
