My head porter recommended going 1.90 intakes but sticking with stock exhaust valves. Opinions will vary based upon builds...

Do the heads while your at it and stick to someone that knows.
I would suggest MCR or ACR's . i didn't put them in and sometimes regret it.

I posted this image in another thread but I will post it here as well, this should help answer some of your questions. This dyno comparison is on the same bike, all 3 tunes were tuned by me, this is a forum mebers bike. The first time I tuned it (GREEN line) the bike was a 96", 255 cams, with SE air cleaner and Moster oval slip ons and a TTS mastertune. He was pleased but decided to put a 103 in it, I tuned it again (RED line) and he rode it like that for a little while. No other changes were made, just the SE 103 kit. He was having some hard start issues and his dealer suggested getting new heads with automatic compression releases. He asked me my opinion and I advised him for less money than the new heads with ACR, wiring harness, etc. we could flow his stock heads and install manual compression releases. He went that route and I tuned it again. (BLUE line). Again, the only thing that was done at this time was the head work. All other components remained the same. This should be a pretty good comparison since it is on the same bike, on the same dyno, tuned by the same tuner. IMO a very accurate comparison. His stock head pipes are what is holding his bike back.

Hope this helps
