Will the new shocks keep us from ripping the wiring out of the fender and keep the bolts off the muffflers?
Iron horse
Here is a copy of an Email I recieved from Amee... Now I don't know about the wiring harness, and where it is run on different models and years, although it seems I recall BH's pic of his damage, and that his harness was not running along the center of the fender??? I could be wrong though... As you can see no offer of a refund... Maybe thats only for '06 owners????
The wire harness issue is only on the 2006 bikes where the harness runs down the center of the rear fender, there will be no issues on a 2004 model. We will keep you informed on the new shock release date, and will offer you a pair.

How could the rear tire rubbing the fender NOT be a issue? So what a older model may not eat the wires. A rubbing tire is a big issue.
I would like to know what updates they are doing to the shocks??? who is doing it etc? maybe I missed it somewhere? If they by chance got monroe to build a special shock then I hope they have deep pockets cause it's gonna get cashy!

I think that is a reasonable question. Personally I dont need all that travel. Would be nice if it would drop 2" and ride nice. Realize the ride maybe stiff but without causing any damage would be nice!!
