This is what I started with, don't get me wrong I liked the look of stock. but it's not my look, so here is one of winter project. more pics to come

This is what I ended up with, I love it. had to modify my exhaust brackets, and do some shimming on my saddlebag brackets, I think the biggest pain in my *** is going to be cutting my license plate down. so I made me a handy little bud light plate template.

Im just curious, since you have to shim them, will it be a PITA when you take them off and on for cleaning and maintenance or is that process just a one time thing?

when I say shim the bags that's just putting washers under the mounting brackets for the bags. so the bags will come off just like stock bags, just had to do it to get the gaps right.
