Anytime someone starts out attacking, the opinion isn't going to be objective. There are far too many posters who have tested and given positive feedback with details to back them up. Not only does Sarge's post lack details to back his opinion, he also gives personal facts about the Jason that is irrelevant to product quality.

As punishment for his emotional tirade, sarge should read every post on this thread.

I'm real enough, Have had mine on three weeks now, They work great! as advertised. And have a well built solid quality look and feel. One of the most worthwile products I've put on my bike! I monitor my CHT with my Power Vision. The beach traffic down here can be total gridlock at times. My CHT has not gone over 250* since installing my Wards FCS. Just last weekend I was heading down to the beach and was stuck on the causway 25 min. before I could even get to the place where you can make a U-turn and bail out. Still did not go over 250*Would have been at least 300*-315*+easy, and broiling my thighs. once I get moving temp goes right back down to 235* which is normal now.One day out riding about 15 min. into my ride saw my temp get up to 260, Thought WTH, looked down an switch was off,I had bumped it polishing.Flipped it on,right back down to 235 in just a couple min.My SG also came w/o an oil cooler btw.
As for Jason, I'm sure if you have any problem at all he will make it right, just going by what others say,and what he says on his wesite.I myself have had no problems at all. He doing a great job of fabricating and shipping a very good quality product. Even though he's still an active duty serviceman. My hat's off to him.
I also followed this thread and researched for months before I finally bought one.

Dude, you're harshin' my mellow, I just got off the road, playing catch up, tryin' to package and ship fans.

Thanks, finally a negative comment, been waiting a long time for that. I can assure you my customers are not fake, and you are not one of them because if you were I would have taken care of the problem you experienced, what was that problem again, you failed to mention it. Its a matter of Public record that I published myself on my website, I'm sure the government posted it somewhere too, I'm retired from the military as of Mar this year, so the project is no longer a sideline, its my mainline and I'm busting *** to build as many of them as I can, as quickly as I can, even sacrificing family time, almost like actually starting a serious business. As for my engineering experience, I don't have a degree, but I have a lifetime of experience gained from actually working all over the world in the mechanical and fabrication fields. My engineering experience allowed me to build several much needed battlefield products, in real-time. I designed, prototyped, tested, mass produced, and fielded with minimal resources in the desert, some of them were formally adopted into service by the DOD. The quality of my "junk" fans started out strong and has steadily improved since I started a little over a year ago, I'll put my construction up against anything else out there, its simple light and strong. Performance wise there is very little room for improvement as it sits, any greater cooling benefit would come at the cost of higher amperage draw, and that cooling improvement will be minimal, like 20 degrees. Yes I had a few broken fans returned but I repaired/replaced them quickly and even those customers are still happy. The "bugs" are pretty much worked out of this product, short of finding a better thermal switch that will tolerate the HD electrical system.

As of this response, you have 4 posts since you joined 1 year ago and all of them have been either a direct or indirect assault on my product. You got it all twisted, have since our first communication; I responded to a complaint about your newly purchased Luv Juugs breaking off on the interstate ride home and almost wrecked you. I offered to exchange one of my fans for it Plus the difference in cost, to exchange their fan for my fan. You went off on some batshit crazy conspiracy theory tangent about me trying to deceive you or take advantage of you or some crap. Anyway, you are pure BS, please, please ,please, email me or PM your real name so I can avoid ever actually doing business with you.

I got good money says you're in cahoots with another fan manufacturer, bet I know who. Good luck with the smear campaign.

Thanks
Jason

Hi Jason

I think I remember way way back in the middle of the 1400 post here that you tested for additional cooling from oil coolers working with your fans. OK, Im too lazy to read through this thread, but can you tell me the results of that test again?

I'm asking because I'm wondering if the engine needs an additional oil cooler if Harley starts using a head liquid cooling system.

Thanks

Beary

Oil cooling is a separate entity, but adding an oil cooler in conjunction with the cylinder fans will compliment each other. I'd play hell trying to dig up the values, but after installing the cylinder fans I raised the adjustable temp on my oil cooler fan switch from 190F to 220F and it rarely ever comes on. Even with a liquid cooled set up, there are still benefits to keeping the oil at the lower end of the operating temperature allowance. Its purely speculation until that liquid cooled version is fielded and the oil temp can be observed in real world operation, to see if oil cooling will be necessary.

Sarge,
You cannot come into a thread that's had hundreds of pages of positive experience, where everyone talks about the "stand up" guy Jason is, and blast this kind of accusation and expect to have any kind of credibility at all.

Most of the folks on this thread do have his product and have interacted with him directly. Who cares if he's still in the Military or not (I think he may have just retired or is very close to it) ... he's not made that a secret and he has responded to all questions in a very timely manor (much faster than a lot of other big name dedicated companies). You don't have to be a certified engineer to figure things out. Some of the best inventions / adaptations have come from "the common guy". Those of us here don't care if he's a college graduate engineer or not. The guy has skills, pays attention to details, seeks advice where needed and has outstanding customer service.

You have no idea what his MOS was and what skills the military (or other trade schools) have provided him.

If you have a problem wit him, address it directly with him and give him the opportunity to take care of it.
