Default Phoenix guys

I will be in town for the Insight bowl on the 30th. My dad, my brother, and I are planning on renting bikes for a day or two while we are there. What is the best place to rent from?

Thanks
Sam

Arrowhead Harley does, I believe Chester's rents as well. Also check Hacienda and Chandler. Where in town are you staying at? Also check Buddy Stunned. Lots of options, good luck!

+1 on that. I grew up in Phoenix. Definitely ride from the west valley through Wickenburg then through Skull Valley then up through Jerome and if it isn't too cold ride through Sedona and back to Phoenix. Great all day ride with cool stops along the way.

I go to Phoenix every year to rent a bike and I always rent from Eagle Rider located inside Hacienda Harley in Scottsdale. Rented from them a dozen times. Call ahead and reserve the bike you want.

Hope this helps!

Yeah call ahead, see who is closest to your hotel and has the best rates- BTW I think Stubbs sucks.

- Before you go, use a video camera or phone to go over every part of the bike, do the same on return and keep the files - Let them see and know that you are taking steps to protect your self.
( one of the Guys here had a problem with a damage claim on a rental rtn at stubbs, I think they are weak for my own reasons)

cyclerides.com has a section with day rides all of which are good.

Expect highs in the low 60's in PHX @ 1200 ' and note that sedona, prescott, payson are all over 5000' so about 15º cooler.
It feels much warmer in the sun, but get in the shade or when the sun goes down at 5:30 you'll feel it

We get rain once in a while- you have to watch for slippy loose dirt and gravel build up on right hands turns, take them wide, not close to the curb.

we have alot of snowbirds here this time of year, watch for sudden left hand turns- they are killing us every week.

Mike

I am trailering my bike out to AZ in mid June 2012 for 14 days. I am staying at the Marriott Camelback Inn for 5 days then just riding all around AZ the rest of the time. Can't wait for the trip to get here.
