Has anyone installed this Harley Davidson fork kit?
I am going to change out my front end to chrome and would like to upgrade my suspension while its all apart.
There are a few options such as these, Ricor Intiminators and Traxion Dynamics (very expensive).
Wouldn't mind some opinions from those who have installed each.
There are other threads that discuss this in depth, but to answer your question I have installed the premium double cartridge kit and I am very satisfied with it.
Short of taking the forks apart, I wish there was a way to know whether the 2010 RG I recently bought has the Premium Ride Double Cartridge Fork Kit. Is there a big difference in the ride?
The previous owner changed the rear suspension to the Premium Ride shocks and chromed the front end. Makes me wonder if he did the cartridges when it was apart.

Call him or have the shop where you bought the bike call him I bet he did.
If you pull the cap bolt on top of the tube you should be able to see the top of the damper rod where it screws into the tube cap. I can check, but I think the stock is either solid or has a hole all the way through.
