For OP; don't just look @ shields to dampen dirty air - suprisingly...there's a huge flow coming from below & under fairing. On top of taller w/s, I added fork baffle (HD), fairing wings (HD) & vented lowers. Between all "four" accessories - I now enjoy riding in fairly non-buffeting bubble.
I'd stay away from the HD Windsplitter. It looks just like the one National Cycle makes and it didn't even finish my test ride. Before I turned around and came back home to take it off.
I've tried Klock Werks, Windsplitters, Clark's Custom Windshields, CC Baileys, Windvest, Clearview and Fast Aire (all in varying sizes)
