Hello, I am right at 5'9 and looking for a windshield for my SG. I love the look of the stock windshield but it am getting alot of wind at in my face at highway speeds. It seems to be hitting me right in the eyes, ears and forhead area. I have been looking at Klock Werks, Clear View and Harley Windsplitter shields in 6.5 height. They all seem to get good reviews. I would like a little less wind in my face and a little easier to hear the radio.
Thanks for the info!

They make the best, most scratch proof windshields on the market. I run a 9.5 inch on my Limited. They are very very hard to scratch.
when I had my 2010 SG I put on the HD Wind Splitter. I was VERY happy with it. I too am 5'9" and it moved the wind over my head and made my stereo even sound louder due to the lack of wind noise in my ears :-) I like this windshield so much I took it off my SG when I traded it in for my Ultra.
Thanks guys, I forgot to mention that I also put a badlander seat on my bike which lowers me about a inch. So I think a 6.5 will work pretty well. I'm suprised at how low some of these prices are.

Yeah the descrption Harley gives is exactly what I am looking for. (Wind over your head and better radio sound). I just want to make sure it works before I spend 160.00 on it.

I actually had the Screaming Eagle Seat on my 2010 SG which also put me down an additional inch or so which was great. Although I had ridden it with the stock seat on and was very happy with both. It's a bit spendy @ $160 so check around I'm sure you can find a better price on it. I gotta say in the looks department it looks great on the bike and HD did a great job with the small LOGO on the windshield. Nice touch!
Fast Aire has the polycarbonate Aero recurved windshield in 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10" sizes.
The Aero is also has a hard coating that is scratch & chemical resistant & beads water off very well. Drop by & give it a look.
I use different height seats, and match windscreens- i like the top edge to "appear" at about 40' in front of the bike, that takes the windblast bugs and grit just over my head- I can wear a ball cap if i need my eyes shaded.
Since i ride in all conditions and tuck into the fairing when wet, I need a clear windscreen- so no tint
I usually buy take off windscreens from riders who "upgrade" to premium products.
You can probably buy 3 take off windscreens for the cost of a premium product.
I trim the unwanted height from the bottom ( hidden edge) with a rotozip.
I have 10, 8, 7 and 6 inch which I swap around depending on which seat I have on the bike
I like the H-D for cost and durability, my windscreen took an apple sized rock at highway speed that would have broken my face---
