I don't think there is any difference in the suspension and the frame has some rivnuts added to mount the seat is all.

I believe they have a 103" engine since 2008 (maybe 2007). I've seen them with Street Glide wheels on the newer models. Don't know if they come standard with ABS. If you go to the H-D website there is info specific to police bikes if you're looking for a 2011 or 2012.

depends on the year. as mentioned above seat, maybe abs, maybe 103" maybe parade fan. High capacity charging system- potential electrical nightmare if the PD put a bunch of stuff on it and just hacked it all off

twin cam cop motors do not have any "special sauce" the cop 103 is a 103

( previous to 1999 cop bikes may have high performance motors OR low compression motors for parade duty)

all touring models of the same year will share drivetrain, frame, suspension etc ( although some models have shorter rear shocks)

cop bikes are great platforms for a full custom- or left pretty much as is.

to make a cop bike look just like the standard version starts getting pricey for someone buying parts at retail and paying labor rates.
and the bike may have been hammered hard

Not 100% sure of the differences, cause this is my first Harley. But mines an 07 cop king. I bought it used with 8200 miles on it just a few months ago. It does have the 103ci with a 6 speed. It does not have ABS (not to say they don't have ABS, but mine does not.) The apes of course are aftermarket, as is my drivers seat (They were both on it when I bought it.) Far as I know the suspension and frame are the same. Sorry I couldn't help more even though I own one. But I'm still learning a lot about it myself. I can tell you one thing for sure. I LOVE IT!! :-)

At least at one point in its history the Police version had a pneumatic seat.

I have an 07 cop bike and it's a 96 incher, 6 speed. Depends on the dept. that ordered it or the person. Some of the small towns require their cops to order their own bikes and then re-imberse them on a monthly basis. Mine came out of Spring Texas and was in San Fran. Ca. when I bought it.

Yeah really depends on the year.

My 2000 FLHTPI has a cranking charging system and the aux lights do not drop out when you hit the high beam, which was not the case on my 2006 FLHTI.
