Looking to replace the battery in my RG after 7 yrs. I am happy the way the OEM battery held up and would not hesitate to buy one again, But I thought I would see what all you guys have found for alternative batteries and if there are better ones out there, after all the forum is the best way I have found to research anything Harley. I have found some batteries with more cca's but not sure that really matters. So any input you guys have would be appreciated.
Best deal going on a sealed agm with 2 year warranty with more then enough CCA within the last month was Sears, next was Walmart at a few bucks more. Both under $79. That's probably half what a dealer wants. Walmart's battery company was given a high rating by Consumer Report.

The original battery in my bike lasted 6 yrs, I had to get a new one at the HD shop because I was caught with a dead battery on the road, and had no tools, or other place to go on bike week weekend. Luckily my local dealer let me in the door at 5:59 PM on a saturday!
$160 and I was on my way... If I had the chance, I would have looked around, but I was lucky just to find a dealer open that day! 6 yrs is pretty good on a battery that small, so
I'm happy with the HD model..
