Installing gear drive cams
I'm going to install a 97" BB kit with Stage II Screamin Eagle heads in a week or so. I have 510G cams installed by an indie in it now, but need to save a little money and will try this install myself, using Woods TW-5G cams. Having never been in a Twin Cam, not sure about installing the inner and outer gears and what tools i'll need for the cam chest. I have about 25000 miles on the 510's and had new inner cam bearings installed then, but plan on replacing them also. Other than the blind bearing puller, what other tools will i need, and how hard will it be to install the gears on the cams and get them timed. Also plan on rebuilding the Fueling oil pump while i'm in it.

...if you use the "search" function on this site, and put in "cam change", or something similar..there will come up an incredible write-up someone did, with REALLY good, up close pictures of each step...I'm not doing cams but once I started reading it, it was so detailed and well worded, that I read it all the way through....good luck man
