There are so many threads on this that my head is spinning from reading them all. I got some Chrome Cash burning a hole in my pocket and looking for things to spend it on. My short list is this...
1. TL Headlight / Passing Lights
2. More power
I have a 2011 Ultra Ltd with hi flow breather, D&D Fatcats full exhaust
(not just slipons) and a PCV currently.
I ride 2 up often and my riding style is not very aggressive. I like the low end torque. Looking for quickness off the line and passing abilities. I rarely ever go above 75mph so I don't care about top end speed. I generally do not buzz past 4500rpm either.
My bike is black so its already the fastest bike from the factory but want to give it a bit more oomph.
If you don't get a Wood camset from FM with their map, your bike will be 7hp & 15tq underpowered and your member will shrivel up and fall off. At least that seem to be the consensus on here.
Sorry seen that in your sig after I posted. I sent you a PM give Ed a call am sure he tuned your configuration already with many different cams.
I think the map (555/777 cam)from FM would be good enough but a custom tune is always the best, with the map from FM you can do the custom tune at your convenience when time and money permit.
I did the SE255 cam. Plenty quick enough for me. Doing 90 by the time the end of the run on ramp to the freeway. Maybe on the short run on on the 75 you'll only be doing 80.
I have real close to the same configuration except for throttle body. 103, D&D fat cats, Stage 1 air and I have SE255s and PCV with auto tune. I have brought the front wheel off the ground, not my goal but a nice surprise with the power which is an indication of a good set up.
