I know the OP has to get his cams through the dealer in order to spend his Chrome Cash, but let me throw the proverbial stone in the water here and recommend looking at the S&S 551 Easy Start cams. I've been reading all I can of the cam threads here and other forums. I like the fact I won’t ever have to install ACRs using these cams. I like how the power and torque band fits right into my riding style. Some nay Sayers will caution about the moving part in the cam, but it is a tried and tested method, look at what the Vrod has for cams.

Just my two cents.

Again it is where you want your powerband to be. For me the 204's are nearly perfect. The 254e will move the power band slightly right and the 203's will move it slightly left from the 204's and either would be acceptable for me. The 255's will move the power band the farthest to the left. Again, too far left for me.

Good luck!

...
when did they start making 203's for 07 and up bikes?

Why put in a smog cam after you have opened up air and exhaust and are using a PC-V? Most harley dealers can order from the drag specialties catalog. Look seriously at andrews 26 cam. $350. Easy install and you you don't change push rods or anything. I installed 48H on mine and it runs like a scallded dog and two up fully loaded with wife and gear made for a pleasent 3000 mile run to sturgis this year. All my friends who have had SE255 installed are replacing them now with Andrews 26. SE255 is tuned to harley ecm with a catilitic converter. You have the power commander that overrides the ecm. You can dyno to a perfect match or go for the autotune and it will dyno as you roll. Good luck on what ever you pick. Stock 96 flat sucks for two up in my area

+1 on the Andrews 26 - got mine for a HDForums vendor (DHP) for bottom $. Perfect for my riding range. Got my MAP from FM to go with my PCV-Retrofit. Now I need the snow to melt.

Wood, Andrews, Fueling, whatever... Just take the time to learn about cam basics and make your own decision. IMO the forum sponsors bring some very good matching components together without having to an expert engine builder to figure it all out. I like Bob Wood's cams and the fact that Fuel Moto partners with him is a big plus to the average consumer. If that makes me part of the herd then all I have to say is Mooooooo!

In a drag race with both bikes exactly the same, so that says they are a little higher rpm cams . Or has been described here before moves the tq curve to the right.

For the SE Cams Ill probably go 204s in my bike. had them in my 95" fatboy and like them a lot and from what Ive read they work well in the 103 too

I have a 2011 Ultra Ltd with hi flow breather, D&D Fatcats full exhaust
(not just slipons) and a PCV currently.

I ride 2 up often and my riding style is not very aggressive. I like the low end torque. Looking for quickness off the line and passing abilities. I rarely ever go above 75mph so I don't care about top end speed. I generally do not buzz past 4500rpm either.
SE 204's. Inexpensive and work. Here a 103/204 combo just tuned by Strokerjlk.
