I put nice Harley luggage on my street glide, easy to remove and hold more, also can just take day bag for short trips..

JMHO but it seems easier to add a TP and 2-up seat to a SG than take off all the excess stuff on the EG. Thats the way I went anyway.

If the wife is going to ride a large majority of the time then I will say go the Ultra way and add the quick detach kit for the tp as the Ultra is way more comfy riding than a SG for the passenger (even for the rider honestly) Also with the price point that you will get the Ultra or a Limited for you actually get more for your money than going SG and adding the pieces you get with the Ultra or Limited.

Here's with and without... I didn't want the antenna whip, so I did a fairing antenna kit; no need for the wiring kit. The anttena mounts are now used for flags...

I used the haley kit and it was all straight forward. The wiring harness kit while kind of spendy comes with everything you need with the exception of the deutch crimper which Ladd industries will loan you for free if you ask.
