Does anyone have any positive lodging suggestions for the upcomming Daytona Bike Week. Possibly looking for a place for four w/good, safe parking and not more than 10-15 miles from the events. Thanks
Daytona is built for tourism. Expand your radius to 30 minutes and there are tons of places to stay that have decent rooms, decent prices, and safe parking.
We have stayed in Palm Coast the last couple of years. Reservations at the last minute and rooms for 85.00 +/-
Close to Destination Daytona, Iron Horse, etc. Close to I-4 so the run is short or near A1A along the water (drunk checks).
Will second what Toypuller said. Have done it for the last 3 years and always stayed on the strip, ocean side. Convenient, but you sure pay for it. Last year had to park the trailer next door for an additional $20 a day on top of the hotel. Get off the main drag a bit and there are tons of options.
the last 4 yrs. we have stayed at the boardwalk has underground bike parking 2 blocks south of main st. and across the street for sharks local strip club. i am a truckdriver so when i start drinking bike gets parked cannot afford a dui. the bahama house is another place we have stayed same thing bike parking underground open bar from 5:00 to 7:00 they call it social hour it is about mile and half from main st.real nice place.
Try www.vacationrentals.com lots of times you can rent a house or condo cheaper than motel a couple of years ago we rented a 4 bedroom with a pool and garage for the whole week for 1000.00 it was in Ormond Beach less than 15 minutes north on hwy A1A
