I was getting 34mpg when being easy on the throttle. This was with a poor tuner. I just got a dyno tune last weekend and will update once I can get enough riding in.
That is just about the speed range where economy starts to drop off. I have gotten no worse fuel economy on the highway when cruising at 65 to 70 with cams. Hot ******* around and anything above 70 it starts to drop off.
Anything over 75-80 mph and it starts dropping like a turd in a well.
33 mpg-35 mpg.
The faster the bugs accumulate on the windshield-the lower the mileage.
I had my T/C 88 updated to a "95" (not sure what cams they installed) and I got 38-39 MPG's running 70MPH at about 3,000 RPM's.
Now I have a CVO 110" (tuned with true duals) I get 39-40 at the same speed and RPM's.
However,as an earlier posted stated, when you start going 75-80+ the MPG's drop like a brick.
I thing the worst MPG's that I ever got was 32-33 running at 3,500 RPM's.
