Default Brukus Kickshoe Question

Thinking about buying one of these for my Ultra. I read that they are re-designed from the original version.

For those that have the new version, do they still drag on a left turn?

Also, anyone using them with the Harley Jiffystand Extension 50233-00? Just wondering if you can use both at the same time.

Thanks

I'm not sure about that jiffy stand extension, but this one will work with the Kick Shoe. I also have a center stand on my bike, a 2010 Street Glide

Jiffy Stand Extension kits have been ergonomically designed to simplify the deployment and retraction of the jiffy stand. The extension is shaped to simplify locating the tab with your boot, and aid in swinging the jiffy stand into position. The move feels natural, and adds confidence when parking your motorcycle in a tight spot. Kit mounts to Original Equipment jiffy stand, and includes all required mounting hardware.

Fits '91-later Touring (except Trike).

50000023

Our Price US $39.95

Default Brukus Kickshoe Question

Talldog,
The part number I listed in my response is for the new Harley Davidson jiffy stand extension. Part # 50000023 Price US $39.95. Check it out on the Harley Davidson web site. It installs on the jiffy stand tab instead of on the stand itself. It works with the kick shoe and a center stand on my bike. According to the Brukus web site the older jiffy stand extension will also work without any interference from the KickShoe. Hope this helps you out.

Thanks Seabee, appreciate it. Where did you see on the Brukus site that it will work with the stand?

You know, we always just crushed a beer can and slipped it under the kickstand if we were parking on a soft surface, like in a campground.

And even on a bad day, it didn't take 10 minutes. More like 10 seconds.

Default Brukus Kickshoe question

Talldog,
Brukus says it should not interfere with the jiffy stand extension. I contacted his wife Kay and she was a lot of help. She says if it doesn't work they will refund your money. I found the article on their site but not sure where it is. Maybe in the Q&A section. I did a lot of research before I bought mine and was told by a couple of guys on here that it will definitely work. Both of them have the extension and center stand on their bikes also. The jiffy stand extension I installed was very easy to do and does not interfere with the Kick Shoe or center stand.

boogaloodude,
Maybe you have longer legs than me, but I find it to be a pain in the butt trying to get that coaster under my jiffy stand while balancing the bike especially if the ground is slippery. I too have used cans and pieces of wood, but why screw around trying to locate something and risk having your bike flop on it's side while you are looking. Especially at a large poker run when everyone else is competing for the cans and wood?
It's worth it to me to know that I can just park and take off without messing around. That's why there are so many Harley models and different accessories for them so folks can personalize their bikes. To each their own and whatever floats your boat. Ride safe.
