Just ordered mine in the 4500 flavor. Ive got 5000's in my RZR and there still a hair blue. Not the ricey blue but just a tint. 4500's should be perfect. $25 for the HID's and $19.95 to ship......seriously?
******** like this are the reason eBay charges a fees for shipping cost now.
Anyone here thats ever adjusted the headlights on a RG know what size socket it takes? Im at work and the tool man cometh, wanting to get my ducks in order. I think its 4.5 or 5.5 mm something like that.
Ok well here I am. I got them in the mail and opened them up. Two boxes. I thought this would be very simple to hook up as I read that you unplug factory light and plug it into ballast......factory light is 3 prong. There is nothing on ballast thats three prong. There is also a red and black wire coming off of HID's with spade connectors......where does that go?? Power and ground?? Need some help guys. Thanks
I got my kit installed and it looks great! Give me a little bit this morning and I can show you how the factory harness plugs into that plug. It's pretty simple. For now, if you can match both black wires up, it will should work. Make sure your switch is on the low beam position as well. This was probably the easiest HID kit to install, I didn't even velcro anything, I just shoved all the wires back in the fairing (in fact you dont even need to take the fairing off at all)
Yeah thanks I would appreciate it. My fairing is already off due to PYO bagger bar install. The two black wires.......as in the two with the male/female plugs on them that snap together? I figured that part out.
I read you needed to go to battery with this and ground it also (red/black in DDM harness). Someone on another thread said they used a hot wire that was taped to the headlight harness. Im pretty sure there is one up there that has a read cover over the end but not exactly sure since I wont be around my bike till Friday.
