REMEMBER - DO NOT TOUCH THE BULB WITH YOUR FINGERS!
If you can play this game, you can do this with your eyes closed.
1. Unscrew phillips screw at bottom of the bezel and pull bezel off from the bottom. There is a clip that holds it in place at the top.
2. Remove the 4, T20 Torx Screws. Becareful removing the last, the headlight will want to fall forward.
3. Remove the rubber plug on top of the lightbulb and then the clip that hold the bulb in place. You CAN push all your wires through that plug as seen in my pictures. DO NOT TOUCH THE HID BULB. The oil from your fingers will cause almost immediate failure.
Once the new HID bulb is in the headlamp housing, plug the rest of the wires together, they only fit ONE way and all are keyed. The 2 prong plug will fit into the the factory harness. See pictures below.
I shoved the ballast and ignitor in the left side of the fairing. I would recommend using double sided velcro though so that you can detach/reattach if you need to remove your fairing.
That's what I thought. I think I'm actually going to buy like 5 kits and keep them with me and when people ask me where I got it, i'll sell it to them right then and there with free install! lol
On my DDM's there is a red and a black that have male spade connectors on them (at least one of them does).......I have everything you do plus that. I cant see your whole harness to really see where your wires go or whats on the end of them to compare too.
