Glen,
I think your spade terminals go into the oem headlight plug. One for ground and the red to you low beam socket. You dont have the hi/low kit thats why I think you didnt get the 3 pin h/l plug, so you dont need that wire..

That is correct. For some reason yours doesn't have the plug but the wires are the same. Look at the plug on the Harley harness and you'll see what wires go where. Just remember black is ground for both. Red can go in either depending on low or high beam.
5wop,
Mine is different than your guys set up. Dont want to confuse this thread, but they sent me 3 dual light 35/55 HI/LO harness'. My harness has 2 of what your single harness has.
I think I can make the SG and the XR set work by cutting off the second light, if it looks to iffy I am going to contact ddm and try and get the correct harness for the single light set up.

Good luck calling DDM. Ive read they suck at answering phones. I think thats why they make it so cheap so you will just throw it on the shelf before wasting time trying to call them......LOL!

Ok, thanks guys. Im just gona look at your plug and put the spades in with reference to yours. People that were running power from there battery.....where are you running it into on the HID harness? It seem like a "closed loop" system to me. If I dont need to then Im not gona worry about it.

sounds like you have the hi/low bulb. i have those on my superduty & it has an extra box that it comes with to.

edit:::::nope you dont have the hi/lo, you just dont have the connecter on the end that connects to the OEM head light plug.
piece a cake to do it even though you dont have the connecter.
like said before plug the wires into the correct spots on the OEM head light plug then just loop the wires back up to the OEM wires & zip-tie them together.

you will be amazed at how much better you will be able to see in the dark especially if you do a lot of mountain ridding & there is no street lights.

Glenn, Where did you figure the red and black wires went? Was it to the low beam light socket?

Well heres the deal. I got to come home on Valentines day for about 3 hours and wifey told me I had a box. I didnt get to really look at it. Just remembered that I read on here to unplug old light and plug it into ballast and so on. I just didnt see anything that added up besided the two single plugs that matched up and the dual prong that connects into the ballast. I kinda thought they just slid in the light socket but thought that was kinda mickey mouse but it is what it is. Right into the old light socket is where they go.
