I just didnt see anything that added up besided the two single plugs that matched up and the dual prong that connects into the ballast. Yep! Pretty simple, I dont know why mine came with one plug with both prongs though.

So far i'm loving them. Sometimes it doesn't come on immediately and i have to flip the switch 3-4 times. Anyone know why this would be?

I received my HID kit today. I got the Hi/Lo 35 watt. My new HID bulb came with the piece around the bulb. I'm not sure what it is called. The stock bulb also has the same piece around it and it seems to have to be there to hold the metal clip in place. Do i take that piece off the new HID bulb or modify the stock piece so its not around the bulb?

I think you're talking about the rubber grommet. I put my HIDs through it. It will stretch enough.

You can see a portion of it here.

its the part inside the lens. It is held in by a screw near the bulb and the retaining clip hooks into it. The bulb shines into it and its round. on my light its silver. There was one one the new HID bulb. I cant post a pic yet .. not enough posts

Question DDM Tuning HID Please Fill In The Blanks

I am trying to install the DDM Tuning H4 Hi/Lo Kit into my 2010 Street Glide and could use some reassurance.

First, it appears the kit I received is purposed for a dual headlight setup (like in a car). Can someone verify this for me please? Does it look correct in the picture (aside from the 3-prong connection which obviously connects to the bike harness).

Second, May I ignore the red battery terminal and black ground wire or are they necessary in this application? If they are necessary, there are red (capped) and black connectors inline with the bikes light harness, may I use those?

Please fill in the blanks for me. Thanks.

Question Clarity

For the sake of clarity, here is a picture of the bike's wiring harness for the headlight. The red (capped) and black wires are what I'm thinking I can use to power and ground this system.

True or false?
