I have 2 problems with the 12s:
1) I'm only 5'7" tall
2) I have the HD Braided Diamonback cables installed, stock length
I'm not quite 5'10'' and did 14's. Love them.
I think at your height, you would be ok with 12's. Put serious thought into this. You really don't want to do this install twice!
As for your cables, you can get a new upper for the brake line, and a new clutch cable. No need to replace the brakes all the way to the calipers, unless you change styles of course and want them to match.
FWIW, on the 14's, I went +8 all around. Everything was a perfect fit.

I'm 5'8" and for me the 10's are PERFECT.
I like a neutral hand position...right at shoulder height.
The 10's put my hands about 1/2 to 1" lower, which makes blood circulation just about perfect.
I've done all-day rides and my hands/arms never feel tired.
If you're the same size as me, and like me don't like feeling like you're leaning forward and down on the grips, then you'll love the 10" PY bars.
(plus, they look badass)
I ended up getting a clutch cable, but that was more piece of mind than anything. After that I saw a couple that were re-routed through the fairing that weren't stretched out to the max like the stock positioning & routing had mine.
So take the time to pull it out of the fairing and find just the right path to keep it from being too stretched & you'll be fine using stock cables on the 10"
Those pics are wrong. If you look at the rt bar on the 10 in it says MBB 12.5 (Monkey Bagger Bars 12.5 tall) which the ones I have and they look the same height as mine on the fairing.
Thanks for noticing that. I pulled the pics off of the PY website. I may be OK with the 12's, they are not to extreme, and I guess I 'd be OK with the fairing mirrors.

Any body know what extra length I will need for the 12's?. I do not have TBW. Also a good source for the cables? I do not need fancy, just plain old black ones like the stockers would be fine.

Yea, those pics are a bit off.
The 10" put the grips right at the top edge of the fairing, just above the speakers.
The 12" put the grips just above the top of the fairing.

Clutch would be +4.
Throttles....can't say 100%, but would say +2 would probably work, since stock ones work on the 10" bars.

Actually, if you look at the 14 and 16 inch one's they also say mbb125. The full numbers are mbb125 10, mbb125 14, mbb125 16.
I would go with 12s. I'm 5'10" and have a low seat. Originally, I wanted 10s because I thought I didn't want my hands above the fairing. Turns out that's no big deal. I could go taller. Next time I'll go 14" or 16". I do love my current bars though.
12s no wiring ext just reroute plugs under radio, +6 on the brake and clutch should be fine. You can definitely use the mirrors. I have pics of them in my profile. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/membe...674-stuff.html
No way I could see my mirrors with my 10's, but I have them pulled back a little so I can reach them.
And I had to install a +4 clutch cable so I could keep it in the fairing.
Do you have more pics of your bars? Yours don't look as high as others yet you have the same 10's others do.
