The height of the bars will look different for the same bar size depending on how far they are pulled back. I like mine pushed forward against the fairing. I have long arms and like to stretch out. Others rock them back toward the rider and they will not be as high. His look rocked back a bit. So they will look lower that other 10s pushed forward.
So, what is everyone's opinion on having the 10's and having both the fairing mirrors and handlebar mirrors installed. Even though the fairing mounded mirrors aren't usable, they can be there to hide the holes. Would it look stupid?
Does anyone have this set up? Have pics?
I also would like to see pics of how the stock cables get re routed for the 10" bars
Thanks.

I'm in the market for apes for my limited. I'd love to get the 10" PY bars BUT the big problem is getting them. The 12's are farely easy but the 10's are special order and I don't want to wait 2 months.

It's winter, and the wait is worth it. Two about 8 weeks for mine to arrive, but I'm glad I didn't give into my instant gratification tendencies.
Those pics are wrong. If you look at the rt bar on the 10 in it says MBB 12.5 (Monkey Bagger Bars 12.5 tall) which the ones I have and they look the same height as mine on the fairing.
Actually those pics are right on the bars say MBB125-10 which stands for M=monkey B=bagger B=bars 125=1.25 DIA 10=10" height. IMHO the 10's are very nice but the don't grab your attention you can walk right by and not notice them the 12's will grab your attention but yet they are not crazy high. If you want part numbers for the throttle, idle, clutch cables and upper brake line email me at wed21@chrysler.com
Yes, it will look stupid with bar and fairing mirrors. Go down to the auto parts and pick up a black plug for the hole. Or just go with with 14s or 16s use your mirrors and no one will miss them when walking by. I have seen a couple of SGs recently with taller bars and they looked sick! I had a softail with 18s on it once and loved it.
That looks to be exactly where my black 10" bars sit as well.
.
Thanks for the pics.. you were the next person I was going to post to and i got busy and never got back till now. Its strange.. your sig pic makes them seem higher then the bottom pic from behind. How far forward are those? About the same as where stock would sit? The bottom pic looks like that bend comes close to your gas console on the tank. If I would pull them back a bit ya think they would they hit? I wonder if I shouldn't look more at something with less of a bend? What I really need is to find some people with these bars, and the tall boys and WO 575's to compare.
I'm in the Allentown PA area people.. if any one is reading this and has these somewhat close and would let me check em out I'd appreciate! LOL

I live near Wilkes- Barre. I first ordered 10". After waiting for the inner fairing to come in and lots of debate, I ordered a set of 12". So, one will be going on the bike and one will be for sale. I will probably put the 12" on and pull them back a little, I too like to lean back on the back rest. Come spring I have no problem taking a ride.
