I ride with a guy that has a 21" on his bike (stock on rear)......bike "looks" great.....but I know the truth. LOL

I'm no **** to have two different wheels......rather leave them stock then different.

Both, you sound rich. How bought saving us a bundle and do my rear to? My passenger is getting tired of reaching down and hitting it with the steel wool pad. HA

Some of our customers go that route, saying they can't see the rear wheel so why bother paying the extra money. However we have a lot of those same customers that end up coming back and purchasing the matching rear wheel after having the front wheel on their bikes for a couple of months.

What are your thoughts of only doing the front wheel and leaving the rear stock?... My thought is you really can't see the rear one anyway with the hard bags/pipes... It would obviously cut the price of the project significantly.... I don't know if I could justify $3000 or so for the two wheels (and tires, rotors, etc).... $1500 or so doesn't sound too bad though.....

What is your opinion? Just make the front pretty or save penny's to do both?

Do what your money situation will allow. If you have the cash do both do it,if not just do the front and be happy with that.

Here is a pic of my bike right after i got my front rim on (was waiting for my rear as the cush drive took a little longer to anodize). You tell me, can you tell the rear is different?

Now... keep in mind that i have 4" Rinehart Extreme duals which cover a little more. And, i was standing up at an angle looking a little down over it (not much though, still a little in this picure). If i was standing away from this bike in a parking lot looking at it i think i could totally see the rear rim and tell. I am able to see them all the time in other peoples pics.

That being said, the only person who would really care in the end would be you. Do what you have to do to make ends meet. If someone has something to say, then it sounds like they are really judgemental and need try walking in someone elses shoes. I can promise you this on the other end of the spectrum... there are plenty of people wishing they could just do the front rims!

On a side note... i got mine through Southern-mc. Rims (with extra cuts i had done to personalize them), matching rotors, cushdrive, anodizing the cushdrive and hubs, brand new Metzler rubbers mounted front and rear... probably $2300 (That's a mount and go situation using stock ABS spacers. I had no issues what-so-ever). Very happy with the outcome and price i paid!

I purchased front and rear. Personally, I would know they don't match and that would be enough for me. It really does matter on the style of wheel you get. If both are chrome it will hide the differences a lot more. Now my PM Paramount Contrast Cut, yeah, they would be easy to tell if they weren't matching.

Here is another pic for you that a friend took while at my local indy:

Now judge the two if you want to know the truth. As other said, you got extended bags then that hides a good bit. My buddies bike in the corner there has extended bags and air rides which are lowered and you can see you can't really see his. But you're jacking the money up there.

(My rear is stock, not a 17" or 18" rear rim)

Hope this helped!

Try $2,245.00 for chrome and dual rotors on the front. (+$650 for chrome)
