Yep, I asked the same question on here. Got alot of the "you can't see it" replies so I just did my front. A month later I ordered the rear. Drove me nuts. Everytime I looked at my bike parked my eyes were drawn to the rear wheel. Even with extended bags on I could tell it was mismatched. Geez Maybe others wouldn't notice but I did..... all the time. I guess it just comes down to how picky you are.

Listen to DuraGlide.

This is very good advice, I looked at my bike on the stand, at about 20-30 feet and knew right away I had to do the rear. And my bike is lowered.

It shows more than you think, and more people will notice it than you think.

Good advice my friend.

You can surely see it. Here is a pic that made up my mind as I was in the same boat as you. This is NOT my bike but one I came across on Ebay recently. When I look at that pic my eyes go straight to the back wheel, which is not what I want when someone views my bike. In my opinion it looks dumb.

Wouldn't having mismatched wheels somewhat effect the ride? Obviously some people are running them without issues. I wasn't sure of the effect.

I can take as many pictures as you want and you won't see the rear wheel.
or
I can see your bike in person and see immediately that you have a stock wheel.

I did that on my 1st Harley (’07 Fat Boy with saddlebags) to save money, and it lasted about 3 months before I bought the matching rear wheel.

Yea.... Swop was wrong... I paid around 2300 for my contrast cut rims and matching rotors and cush drive, including taxes and got some anodizing done on the hubs and cush drive, extra cuts done on the rims, and Metzlers mounted on the front and back. The rims and rotors woulda been much less alone. Really happy with the quality of mine.

I don't know...makes the front wheel look bigger , and isn't that what you wanted?
Some people think bikes with with HUGE front wheels look dumb anyhow.
I say, you want to change wheels? Start with the front one (If you can't afford both).

Here's the plan for my 09 RK Police ...

New front wheel/different style soon to coincide with the front tire pretty much gone.

Will live with my "hidden" stock slotted rear wheel until that tire is gone, and then I'm going to send the stocker out for chroming or powder coating. Can't see going with a new wheel on the rear - for me - but I will pretty it up some.

As others have said, you can't really see the rear wheel ... until it starts burning a hole in the back of your mind!

Yep ... no OCD members on this forum.

I installed the Limited chrome and black wheel on the front of my 09 Classic shortly after I bought it.I lasted about 2 weeks before I ordered the rear one.I could even see that raw unpolished rear wheel when I was riding down the highway at 70mph....lol.
