Here is another pic for you that a friend took while at my local indy:
Now judge the two if you want to know the truth. As other said, you got extended bags then that hides a good bit. My buddies bike in the corner there has extended bags and air rides which are lowered and you can see you can't really see his. But you're jacking the money up there.
(My rear is stock, not a 17" or 18" rear rim)
Hope this helped!
First things first.... That is a STUNNING scoot! Great job! Love the contrast of black and chrome.... wow....
Thank you all for the opinions.... It looks like we're at 50/50 now.... Of course in a perfect world, doing both is a no brainer! I did spend way more in mods this year than I thought I would (stage 1, slip-on's, ac, mini apes, chrome controls, hammock seat, chrome lowers, and on and on and on to the tune of 5+K).... The wheels are just in my head now as the bike is in the garage for the winter.....
Thanks for the opinions! Keep them coming! Interesting reading for everyone I think......
I plan on keeping the rear when I change the front. I also plan on getting a similar looking contrast cut front and extended bags however. I just don't see spending the money unless it bothers you to have them mismatched.
Try this. Park the bike in a level parking lot on the kickstand and walk 30ft away on the right side and then look at the rear wheel. Shows more than you think.
I plan on doing just the front. If I had tons of cash to blow on the bike then I would do the rear. Cant really see it with the stretched bags, fender, and exhaust anyways. Unless It just bothers you knowing the rear is stock, no big deal.
I will be going with the DNA 21'' or 23''. You can get front and rear with pulley and rotors for about $1700. No tires. Pretty good price If you ask me. Found a couple dealers right around that price range.
