I don't know...makes the front wheel look bigger , and isn't that what you wanted?
Thats probably due to the fact that theres a good chance it is bigger....

The rims and rotors woulda been much less alone. Really happy with the quality of mine.
On a side note..Can you elaborate a bit on the extra anodizing on the hubs and the extra cuts? The hubs not come black? I will be ordering my contrast cut wheels/tires from Southern and looking for all the info I can prior to calling and ordering. Are those the "Black Poker" wheels? Scoot looks excellent by the way!
As far as the hubs, double check on the style you want has black hubs. Last i looked only 1 style comes with black hubs. I wanted black hubs so i paid to get the hubs and cush drive anodized. Truthfully though... you won't see the difference when on the bike. Extra moeny spent without a big return. I just get a little **** at times so i wanted mine blacked out. Mine are the black poker wheels. The outer cut on the rim is not on the pokers. So i paid a little more and had the extra cut done on the wheels. I figured it would bring out the black and chrome on the bike. Happy with the outcome. Just double check everything on the order they send to you and make sure it is correct. If you get tires mounted make sure you get the size you want on the front... 120 or 130. Make sure you know what you need for the year bike so yu can double check everything. There have been other users that had the wrong hub in the rims due to them ordering for an older bike. i will say though... the people there are very nice and really willing to help on anything. I would probably think that if you order something now there is a good chance they can get them out in a week or two. Keep in mind, these guys aren't resellers. They cut their own rims so everything they have is actually made there.

Hope this helps... good luck on your purchase!
Good info.....Thank You! I am leaning towards the Legend wheels. I will have to check on the hub color. I do like the lip being cut also...looks nice!!
So what happens to the speedo when you have these massive front wheels - is the speed reading well out or does the speedo not matter from that?
Speedo has been reading off a sensor in the trans for quite a few model years now. Rear wheel overall diameter doesn't change much with the swap from 16 to 18.
I saved a little longer and did both. I timed it so the tires were worn out. I notice it especially when the bike is on the stand from the right. It made ME happy and that's what counts.
