I'd say, London to Paris? I've never ridden my bike over the sea before!

That's your problem... you're trying to drive OVER the sea. You have to drive through it. Your bike is just too heavy to drive over it. Get a good running start at it to make sure the beach sand doesn't slow you down. And make sure you turn on your wipers.
Southbridge Mass to Jacksonville Fl. and the way to Bike Week. 1100 mies on a 07 XLH1200 Sport. Of course that wasn't the plan, we were going to stop in South Carolina for the night but all of the motels were "no vacancy". Yeah, the parking lots were full of pick ups with Harleys in the back. #$@%%$, so after three exits of that crap I told my buddy "screw this, I'm not stopping again until I get to Florida" LOL.
The next day we had a great ride down A1A to Daytona in the sun.
None stop SaddleSour 1000 Iron Butt Association (in Florida Ride). A couple 2400 miles rides to Ms, NC, VA, DC. Would like to ride west this spring. Trying to figure out how to stop working.
One trip was from Longwood, Florida to Hampton, VA none stop (1400). Love my Corbin seat.
Prior to owning my Ultra; 1.Round trip from Milw. to the Apostle Islands on a 4.0 gal. tank Vmax. 2. Round trip from Milw. to Sault St. Marie on the same Vmax. 3. Round trip from Milw. to Lexington/Louisville Ky on an R1. Had to stop approx. every 100 mi. on Vmax for gas and the R1 had an underseat exhaust that burned the crap out of my a$$! (was also 95+ degrees every day)
Sometime I get going and just don't stop....
Fort Meyers FL to Kentucky, 1100 miles, non stop
Austin TX to Kentucky, non stop
Several not as long, Kentucky to Salina KA and a bunch from KY to Brunswick GA...and back.....
Kentucky to San Deigo CA...and. Week later back to Kentucky.
Yeah, I have few iron butts
Want to do the 50/50 ....Jacksonville FL to Sana Monica pier...in 50 hours or less...should be interesting. Put some sand and water In a film container from the Atlantic Ocean, and some from the Pacific in another....commentate the ride.
Got all of the USA except a few states, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, N Dakota, Minn, Wisconsin, Maine.....that would complete the lower 48....got to do Alaska too.....
So much to see....and no better way then from the seat of a motorcycle!
last year we left Detroit area at 7pm friday Aug 5 for Sturgis arrived in Hill City by 7pm Aug 6. Caught a few zz's crossing Lake Michigan on the midnight ferry to Milwaukee which saved us some miles and Chicago traffic issues. 985 miles in 24hrs, including a little nap at a rest stop in Wisconsin just before the sun came up.
