Just did a 96 to 103 and would like to know owners thoughts on installing an oil cooler? I understand they come stock on 2012 103" bikes. What's your experience with the Jagg 10row cooler versus the HD Oil cooler?
I've had the HD and the Jagg fan assisted cooler both on my bike and I prefer the Jagg.
It runs cooler going down the road and I like the idea of the fan which seems to slow the rise in oil temperature when stuck in traffic.
As a side note, I bought the adapter with the thermostat from Jagg and it moves the filter up and forward away from what I think is the crank sensor. This will make changing the filter easier.
I have the HD on my 103" 2010. Seems to get the job done. Definitely dropped the oil temperature, and that's not easy when it's 112*F in the desert around here. Max seen is 220-230*F with the oil cooler, over 250*F without. As long as it stays under 250*F I'm a happy camper.

I installed the HD. 3 summers of over 100 degrees and I've never had any issues riding in town or on the highway. At the time I installed Jag didn't have one that I liked the look of. If I was doing it today I would probably go with the Jag fan assist model. I've never heard anything but good things about Jag coolers.

+1, mounted one on my 11 Tri Glide Ultra and also wired the fan to my acccesory switch through the thermoswitch. Now I can turn the fan on and off as needed. Can't buy a better product and Marv the owner of Jagg is very customer oriented.
