Default Street Glide Crash Bar ??

I own a 2006 Street Glide and I am looking at Crash Guards. I want something that is functional and also looks good. Can I get some feedback on the best ones available?

Stock or the Harley Mustache bar on front, stay away from the Lindby bars, had one and after 6 months it started pitting, rusting and chrome flaking off.

I've got the Lindby going 5 years now. No issues with chrome at all. I hate when someone slams an entire brand just because they have a problem. Best for looks and functionality with built in highway pegs. I like them so much I sold my stock crash bar....something I normally dont do.

The Lindby is a very good looking Bar. I was wondering about the functionality of it. I also noticed that they make many different kinds. What is the best for the Street Glide?

I will not use anything but the stock Harley bar. My bike fell off the jiffy stand and if it was not for the stock crash bar there would have been a lot more damage. When the bike fell over it scuffed the bottom of the left bag, bent the clutch lever like a pretzel, and scratched the saddle bag latch. Did not touch the fairing, nothing on the front fender, very minor scuff on the left hand grip, and that is it. Of course it scratched the **** out of the crash bar but it did the job.

Can you tell me which Lindby bar you purchased? I see that they have the Twinbar, Multibar, Linbar and the Unibar. Thanks

I am either going to keep my stock an just PC it black or get the Yaffe Monkey crash bar as it would match the lines of my bars.

Mine is the standard Linbar. None of those fold out pegs needed. Foot placement is spot on and just plain looks good!
