I need to thank a few people for their contributions.
Traveler for the Wicked Image fairing mount Mirrors.
Spartaman for the 07 Street Glide seat.
fatmat1962 for the windshield, Live to Ride gas door, & front chrome axle covers.
bdp for the offer of floor boards, windshield, and turn signal lenses. I was not able to hook up with bdp while in Kingsville our schedules clashed, but thanks.
And a special thanks to longrideshields-1 for the offer to send me a custom etched windshield. I will be taking him up on that offer.

I like it. Tracks straight and sounds great. Need to ride with another Harley so I can tell if she is performing well. On a down note, 2nd ride got about 5 miles down the road and I voltage dropped to 11.5 got back to the shop and diagnosed bad regulator
$214 from the dealer, $169 for a chrome(out if stock) ordered one from bkriders $141...

No doubt said by some guy selling stators. Right up there with change your oil every 3,000 miles.

Yes I read a post on changing the stator. That looks like something that will wait until it fails. Then I'll change the drive belt at the same time....

Voltage regulator went out on my 1992 Fatboy. Even the dealer didn't tell me I needed to replace the stator at the same time. Now that's not to say it might be necessary in some cases - but given the cost I'd want to have a better reason/diagnosis than simply the voltage regulator failing.
