Are you asking about HD's Premium Ride rear shocks? If so I have them on my 2010 RG (purchased by the previous owner) and I guess they're better than the stock air shocks. They don't however come anywhere close to performing as well as the Ohlins on my 2000 FXDL.
I know the Premium Ride list for $500 and would suggest that you at least see what a set of Ohlins go for before deciding. Talk to Howard at motorcyclemetal.com.

I have the HD premium low shocks on my Street Glide. I'm very happy with them. I tried Progressive and Race Tech before ordering the HD shocks. They are definitely 100% better than the stock air shocks IMO.
Before I spent alot of money on something like this, I would take the shocks that are on your cycle and change the oil in them. Makes a world of difference and is easy to do. If you yet do not like the performance, then I would go ahead with whatever you want to do.
Personally I believe this entire shock business for a Touring machine is just so much BS. I changed the oil on my 2006 UC stock shocks to BelRay 7.5 wt. shock oil and it rides perfectly no matter how bumpy the road. I do not even use air in them. Be smart, save your money first and try the lesser expensive option.

Listen up guys the Internet Inventor has spoken! I am not sure your call on Bs isn't Bs itself. Everybody rides different, on different roads, weighs different, and carries different payloads.

my stock shocks broke on the way to vegas bike week i got to red rock harley in vegas and they confirmed shocks blew out yes the 2 blew out. so i asked if they had any aftermarket shocks and all they had was the harley premium shocks i paid the differance of the 2 shocks and they installed them. well let me say this for the price of those shocks they SUCKED big time. i traded for a set of prgressive 440s 11inch shocks and it made a world of differance. i tried the ohlins and i wasnt that impressed for the money u spend and the harley premium shocks are worst find something else u wont like them. there rally made for 2 up riding i think but i ride solo so they were like driving a truck. good luck on your purchse.
I really like the Harley premium shocks in the standard touring bike length (13"). They are dramatically better than stock and much better than most of the aftermarket shocks out there. Get them from one of the on-line discount dealers for around $400 and they are a deal. The Ohlins #3 shocks that every one raves about are a lot more expensive and, in my opinion, not any better.
Just my opinion - others will disagree.
I also like the 13" Premium hand adjustable shocks....Huge improvement over stock....Lucky enough to get a set for 25% off....Turned out to be a great investment....Even the OL loves the new shocks....I give them a THUMBS UP.
