Default Biketronics and Hawg Wired Radio Install Kit Pictures

I have decided that my next upgrade is going to be an aftermarket stereo and I'm interested in seeing which install kit looks better. I am asking to see if you have a Street Glide and have used either the Biketronics and Hawg Wired Radio Install Kit will please post pictures of your install.

I have not had the luck of seeing either one in person only from what I have read on this forum. I did do a search and unfortunately not too many members have posted pictures of their final install.

A simple picture of the of the inner fairing would be much appreciated!

Your feedback is also welcomed regarding which head unit you recommend.

Thanks in advance!

Do you mean after installation? If so, here is a video of my inner fairing.

I've have the same setup, except I keep my phone in my Pocket, and use a USB to listen to music, it's a lot cheaper for the stick than the phone, plus the phone has to have power too, if on a long ride you'll lose phone quickly!

Yes, I have noticed that Pandora drains my phone battery quickly. However, I can charge the phone by plugging it into the deck USB port. I also have an 8gb stick that holds my entire music library.

My intent with this system was flexibility.

Thanks to everyone who posted their pictures. Both kits look really good!

Milleda31,

What head unit is this? Does it feature built-in bluetooth or did you have to add that on? It looks awesome! Also what cradle is that holding your Droid?

I am going to put my 2 JL Audio Amps and MB Quarts Component Set from my prior SUV on Craigslist and eBay and hopefully be able to "sponsor" my Street Glide Head Unit upgrade. This option will go over much easier with my "accountant"!

I had the BT kit in my 06 EGS. It served its purpose, but I was never really happy with the setup. I sold the bike so sorry I cant shoot you a picture. If I had to do it again I would opt for the HW setup over the BT. JMHO Bryan

I have the Biketronics handlebar controller, with a Sony aftermarket radio from them as well. System works great, and easy to install, unfortunately I don't have any pics of that...sorry.

If you are really going to do this I'd HIGHLY suggest looking into getting the J&M Rokker speakers and Amp. I have gone with the Arc mini amp, and 6.5" speakers with the Sony head unit. It was a good system, but to me, still seemed to be missing something. In November I took the dive, and purchased the J&M system - along with the 7.25" speakers for the lowers as well.

Let me tell you, this is one loud, clear, clean, bad a** system! Well worth the money.
