I have an 09 Street Glide that I replaced the OEM seat with an OEM CVO seat. I noticed the seat is rubbing the edge of my saddlebag lid and damaging the paint. Has anyone had this occur? Will HD do anything for this? Any info would be help full. Thanks
Hear that all the time actually. You can trim down the seat where the lids are rubbing and pull the cover a little tighter in that area. Will HD do anything about it? NOPE!

had the same issue with my 08...since the bag mounts are adjustable i just loosened them and moved them rearward a bit..problem solved
Can you give us any review on the cvo seat. Is it a good replacement over stock flhx seat. Im thinking about doing the same thing or going with a c and c sport tour.
The seat looks like the 2010 Street Glide CVO seat. We did the same with our 09 Street Glide but it is not rubbing yet. It is a pretty comfy seat but we are looking at other options for two up riding. We are leaning towards a mustang touring seat or the HD Hammock seat.
The seat should fit and as was said earlier--adjusting the saddlebags would correct the rubbing problem.
Seats are very different depending on the person. Personally I had a C&C seat and loved it for around town, but for long distance touring I prefer a Corbin. If you could go to one of the shows and sit on a Mustang seat at the booth, that would be a start, however you still don't know how you will feel after 4 hours in the saddle.
I have an '11 Street Glide that I replaced the seat with an '11 SG CVO seat. The closest the seat comes to the bags is at the very front of the bags, and there is about a 1/2" clearance. So far, I've had no rubbing and I weigh 275 pounds. Maybe there's a difference between the '09 and '11 seats? I like the driver comfort of the CVO seat just fine, especially for the price, $300 shipped from Lake Shore HD.
Bought the CVO seat for my 09 Streetglide and love it, rode to Sturgis and back ( 3700 ) miles total and was impressed. As for the rubbing, I put a small amount of 3m clear tape in the areas you are talking about- worked great.
