I'm looking for a painter to send my inner fairing, tweeter pod and mirrors to. I've got a tri color ---crimson red sunglo --- I want the parts to match. Hoping for some good leads. I see there is a guy on e-bay that is in Co. But have not heard of anyone that has used him.
I've used Gilby's Street Department in River Falls, WI. He's done custom paint work on my truck and I plan on bringing my Electra Glide to him once I upgrade my fenders and bags next winter. Does an excellent job for a good price.
I have been looking for one in Southern/central IL (Flora or Effingham or Mt. Vernon area) or Evansville, IN area. If I find one I will make sure to post it here. Or if anyone knows of one could they let me know please.
We are not moving to the midwest in the near future, but if you are looking for a top painter who actually has all original factory colors in stock and guarantees perfect color match & a 2 weeks completion time & gives you a 5 year written warranty; then your best bet is Colormania.
Click here to find out why we have painted more bikes than any other painter.
For a free estimate, please PM me your postal zip code and I gladly get you the total paint cost including round trip shipping.
alcaldecustoms.com Located in the Chicago burbs. I had him do a helmet for me years ago, nice work. I know he has done numerous bikes as well, with his bike getting on the 2011 Dupont Automotive Refinishing calender.
Try JVS Custom Paint in West Frankfort Illinois. Talk to Volski
He color matches HD paint colors and does work for the local HD shop.
I had him paint my inner fairing Black & Black Ice color and I'm very happy with the job. Picture attached.
The chameleon color is around the outside and black around gauges. He also added a pinstripe around speakers and gauges to separate the two colors.
He even had some inners at the shop. I just had him paint one of his and swapped him.
He's got some real nice pictures on his website. jvscustompaint.com
