Default HD 12-disc CD changer question

I just acquired a 2000 Ultra with stock AM/FM/ CB/Cassette and it has the 12-disc changer in the trink with handlebar -mounted controls and amplifier mounted under the trunk. THe CD unit appears to be working, loads discs , etc but I do not hear anything. Can anyone tell me how to set the in-dash unit to the right mode to hear it? AM,FM,cassette all work fine. If anyone has an operators manual for the disc changer, that would be great!

this may not help...some units play back through the FM radio via a modulator.

try getting the CD playing, then turn on the FM radio and scan the channels

or get a CD playing and change modes and see if CD becomes an option to select once it is on and running

Im with mkguitar i had a 95 Grand prix with a 10 disc in the trunk and it was the same way. My changer had a switch on it so you could go between a couple different stations. I would also look to see if the radio has an aux input, as it may be feeding through there as well,
