Default Unidentified plug under bat fairing

I don't have a pic as of yet but I noticed under the bat fairing on the left side there is a black plug. Does anyone know what that plug is? I looked in the manual with no luck. Could that be another acc plug? The bike is a 2012 SG. It looks like its capped with a plastic plug.

Without seeing a photo to be sure...it will be a hard call.
But...my 12 limited had a small black connector with a plastic plug on it to connect the GPS. It was in the head light harness. Also my heated grips did not work when It got cold enough to need them last year...I found they were never connected from the factory...it also was a small back connector with 2 wires on it.
Hope this helps...good luck.

Possibly a front fender tip light connector...but being a Street Glide it is not used. You have the same wiring harness as a model that might use the connector.

Just a guess not having more information.

That's the connector I used to power my amp this weekend. I thought it might be for the Aux lights. Only gets power when the ignition is on.

Winner!!!!! Streetglide shares the same harness as the Eglides which use that plug to light up the fender tip light.

I forgot to mention this plug is visible with the fairing installed. You can see it just by looking under the tree on the left side. So is this a power wire/plug? can I hook my gps to this instead of the cig lighter???

In the absence of a picture, it's helpful to state the number of wires in the connector and the number of wires that can be carried in the connector (e.g. there may be 3 wires in a connector that can hold 4 wires), as well as the wire colors.

If you have the HD service manual, the wire colors are identified in each connector--surprised you couldn't identify the connector based on wire colors.

Hope you get it figured out.

Carl

PS: Another alternative to the fender tip light maybe the "audio connector," 6B on the interconnect harness wiring diagram.
