New 2012 FLHTK!
I traded in my 2005 Ultra for a 2012 Ultra Classic Limited. Ember red sunglow/Merlot sunglow. I've been through a few used bikes but this is my first NEW one.
WOW what a difference. The new frame rides smooth. Going from a 88 to a 103 is pretty nice too.
Only a few hours old and I took care of that riding in the rain thing already..

Does upgrading the exhaust help it run cooler?

Actually jay, it's not the exhaust as much as it is the catalytic converter that makes all the heat. As soon as I got those Vance & Hines Power Duals put on mine & got rid of that cat by doing it, the heat was back to what I call "normal."
